レッスンの進め方

初級クラスのレッスン例

講師がまずスピーディに2回質問します。

Is there a light on the ceiling? 
Is there a light on the ceiling? ……

この質問の後、ランダムに指名された生徒さんが、フルセンテンス（全文回答）で答えます。でも普通は、答えられませんので、講師の後に繰り返してお答えください。

最初はオウム返しで繰り返すだけでも大丈夫です。次回のレッスン、また次のレッスンでも同じ質問が出てきます。最大8回の繰り返しとなるので、最後の方では、講師の言葉を待たずに、回答が自然と口から出てきます。

レベルが変わっても授業のやり方は同じです。文章の難易度が上がるだけです。

たとえば初級の後半なら

• 質問Do you think a child should be allowed to plan his own future without the interference of his parents?
• 回答Yes, I think a child should be allowed to plan his own future without the interference of his parents.

たとえば上級の前半なら

• 質問When you make an appointment with a friend of yours, can your friend usually depend on you to be punctual?
• 回答Yes, when I make an appointment with a friend of mine, my friend can usually depend on me to be punctual.

上級になれば、単なるオウム返しだけではなく、文章を省略することなく、自分の言葉を選び、回答ができるようになっていきます。
